Why are Chinese so hated today?
I saw the Olympics torch relay. In London, Paris and San Francisco, it seemed like the Chinese were hounded. I highly suspect that even if there was no Tibet issue, these same people would come up with another reason or excuse to bash the Chinese. We have to admit that the Chinese are not a lovable people on this earth. They are too money oriented and they have an ulterior desire to rule this world and overthrow Western culture. Many white people have this fear and they should not deny it. The Chinese on the otherhand, viewed that they have been bullied in the past by whites and Japanese and that their nation is finally awakening from the dead to rise up again. They harbor an unfulfilled seeking of vengeance against the West and Japan. These were the true factors and motives behind the recent protests. All this could have been avoided if both sides sought to understand each other. Learn from each others' past and present concerns to move forward peacefully in the future.
