How to retreive the Tesla Coil on Fallout 3: Broken Steel DLC?

ok so im playin fallout 3 and im doing the Shock Value quest for Paladin Tristian of the brotherhood and im having trouble getting the Tesla Coil. My strategy was to enter Old Olney with a Dart Gun (slow down Deathclaws) and a ult Rifle, Fat Man, Laser Rifle orted pistols and the energy wepons from the stupid enclave jerks and run through to where you get the coil. So im runnin through (deathclaws and enclave are no problem) and i get to the sentry bots (need help killing them!!!!!) and go through to where u get the coil and i run up to the coil to retreive it and i get shocked =(. Can anyone give me advice on this. If it matters im a level 15 and got caps to blow. my xbox gamertag is xFaDiNgXAwAyX. thanks
