Huge fight with Aunt can someone give advice {Kinda long please read}?

My cousin attends my dance school and we rent the space that we currently use. The people at the facility are very about everything so we have to be very cautious about things we use. So on Friday the teacher in their cl ask the cl not to sit on the table and my cousin and her friend did not listen sat on the table and broke it. The teacher got my husband who handles all of the money and all of the executive things and he came in the room and spoke to the entire cl. There were two girls rolling their eyes and he pulled them aside and spoke to both of them neither one of them was my cousin. We decided to keep things neat and pay for the table ourselves but we informed both parents my aunt and her friends mother. Then later that night my aunt calls me pisted saying that my husband has no right to talk to my cousin and he needs to watch the way he speaks to children. My husband did not even personally address her, he addressed the cl then my cousin said that the entire cl sat on the desk not just her and her friend and my cousin felt singled out then my aunt said she was hysterically crying and she has never seen her so upset. Yesterday I addressed the entire cl and the class said that my cousin and her friend sat on the desk and my husband did not yell at them but reprenmanded them. My cousin then switched up her entire story and was obvious she was caught in a lie. So at that point I ended the meeting because the other girls parents were waiting outside. My Aunt asked why didn't they listen to the teacher and I said ok we have to go, not on purpose I was just looking at the time and the other girls parents were waiting outside for twenty minutes. My aunt then came over to me and yelled that I didn't let her talk and she asked a question and I didn't let the kids answer and she started telling me how rude I am in front of other parents. I apologized to her for cutting her off it was not personal I was just looking at the parents outside . Then she starts tearing up and saying she can't do this with me. I have no idea what happened so quick. I tried calling her but she still defends her daughter should I leave this alone my aunt and I were really close I mean really close so this is breaking my heart but I don't understand why she is so angry I am paying for the desk and the rest of the class is fine excedpt my cousin she is the only one taking it personal and SHE broke the desk. Anyway should I let the friendship dissolve things are very different between us now I dont feel close or even comfortable with her. Then she started attacking the school saying really nasty things but before this she sent her daughter there for three years with no complaints.
