My brother and future sis in law are very low key people and have been together for twelve years. They want to get married at the courthouse with NO hoopla attached yet she would still like a bridal shower for the family since we love throwing parties. Is this bad etiquette? She doesn't want a reception party either. Not sure why. Was thinking about a wedding celebration party instead of shower. What are your thoughts?
