You didn t state if your on wood subfloor or in basement over cement.. Cement they ll bee fine as long as you use i cement based thin set and make sure the use of right trowel (3/8 sqare notched trowel) Over a wood sub floor ( most common 3/4 inch ply/ osb on 16 inch centers) the use of cement board or fire retadant backer board approved for tile.. 1/2 inch cement board most common.. Thin setted and nail ed or screwed down completely.. if your useing an un gadged (natural and very uneven) , care must be taken to wipe off the back of these natural tiles.. They ll handle the stove fine as long as a good full coverage is used w/ care when stove is set into place GL
